STRAND is a signed-in personal log. An account is required to save vials, protocols, doses, sites, weight, check-ins, and labs. The public calculator and catalog do not require an account.
Where data lives
When you are signed in, records are stored in the app database under your user id. On a published deployment that is cloud Postgres. In this live preview it is a local database that can reset if the preview restarts.
Who can see it
Other users cannot read your log. Your Best Life does not sell log data. Log contents are not used to train models. Google / X sign-in is federated through the Grok auth broker; STRAND receives an identity, not your Google password.
Processors
Hosting, authentication, and (if you use Guide) the xAI API process questions you send. Guide context includes active protocols and open vials you already logged. Do not put information in Guide that you do not want sent to that API.
Export and deletion
CSV export of dose history is free on every plan. You can permanently delete your STRAND data from Settings while signed in, or read Delete my data.
Age
STRAND is intended for adults. Do not create an account if you are under 18.
